The anthology dear human AT THE EDGE OF TIME: Poems on Climate Change in the United States, co-edited by Luisa A. Igloria, Aileen Cassinetto, and Jeremy S. Hoffman, was released by Paloma Press in September 2023.

In November 2023, the anthology was named winner of the Poetry Anthology category in the American Book Fest's Annual Best Book Awards.

dear human's co-editors felt the urgency to address the importance of the climate crisis. As poets, writers, and scientists, what unites them is the knowledge and belief that their stories and the stories of their communities matter.

Luisa A. Igloria was inspired by other projects like the Agam Agenda's and the Institute for Climate and Sustainable Cities' Harvest Moon (Poems and Stories from the Edge of the Climate Crisis, Milflores Publications, 2022)—which she participated in.

In order to keep the book accessible to the widest number of audiences, the editors' call for submissions asked that scientific jargon not be used—that instead, writers focus on the specificity of lived experience in this time of climate precarity.
